Acupuncture is an ancient and beautiful healing technique, derived from China, that stimulates the central nervous system releasing chemicals into the muscles, spinal cord, and brain. These biochemical changes stimulate the body's natural healing abilities and promote physical and emotional well-being.

My approach is empowering, kind and compassionate. I am here to journey along side my patients, encouraging their own physical and emotional healing which will enable them to be at peace, happy and healthy within their own lives.

Professional Qualifications

I am a qualified Acupuncturist, Naturopath and Indian Head masseuse. I have advanced training in muscular-skeletal disorders, fertility and menstrual health, stroke recovery, stress and anxiety, PTSD relief, compulsive behaviours and addictions.

I am a registered member of - The British Acupuncture Council, The Association of Naturopathic Practitioners and National Acupuncture Detoxification Association.

Personal story

I was fortunate to be able to change direction later in life and study Acupuncture and Naturopathy. This change came about after many years in a hard hitting, target driven sales environment which had become unrewarding despite material success.

As a result I feel blessed and humbled that I am able to work in this healing field which is my true passion. My family has had several members in the caring profession - a Doctor, Social Worker, Special Needs Teacher and an Occupational Therapist - so it was no surprise to find myself in this field.

I am excited to help anyone who is in need and look forward to journeying with you to your optimum health.

Testimonials

“As Wellbeing Editor for Reconnect Magazine, I have met many different therapists practising many different types of healing. A few of them stand out in my mind and Sally is one of them. I saw her first during a very challenging period of my life. I wanted to maintain a professional façade but I found that I couldn’t. Sally put me at my ease, partly through her words but mainly through her calming, compassionate presence.

During the treatment I felt myself becoming more peaceful and serene. Afterwards I felt a deep sense of calm that I had not felt in a long, long time. I have subsequently seen her a number of times and each time I have been inspired by her intuitive ability to tune in to (and treat) exactly the right points to heal my body and soothe my mind. In my last treatment I spoke to her about a chronic UTI that has reared its ugly head time and again over the last few months. The following day, the symptoms were much improved. The day after that they were gone. Honestly. I couldn’t believe it.

I hope Sally will continue to practice here for a long time. I will continue to see her whenever there is a physical or emotional issue that is troubling me. I have every faith in her ability to treat it and I highly recommend her.”

"Having received acupuncture treatment from Sally shortly after the successful completion of my first Ironman 70.3 in Barcelona, I can certainly vouch for the many benefits of this form of treatment. I had virtually no stiffness or soreness the next day (apart from a slightly sore head following a few too many victory beers!) and in fact I even managed to get in quite a few hours of sightseeing without issue.

I was truly amazed by how well my body responded to the treatment and how fresh I felt after such a gruelling and competitive event. There is no doubt that the acupuncture was key to my recovery. I would recommend this service to all athletes regardless of their level - it is a complete game changer."

“Acupuncture really helped with my acute back pain. When carrying groceries home I felt my back go into spasm and the next morning I was unable to get out of bed due to the excruciating pain. I was nervous about receiving an acupuncture treatment as I did not want anyone to touch me as I was suffering so much. Sally was very gentle and reassuring and explained each step which helped me to relax. After the acupuncture treatment I felt a significant easing of the pain and I was able to stand and walk around a little. I had two more treatments and each time there was a marked improvement in my discomfort and stiffness. Sally also suggested some exercises which helped ease the pain and loosen my back which I found most useful. She has a very understanding and professional manner.
Thank you Sally!”

“To me Traditional Chinese Medicine is the most wonderful way of healing; but also a philosophy and way of life. There is such a beauty within it. This beauty is derived from the symmetry it has with nature, thousands of years of accumulated wisdom, a connection with our spirit, and the fact that it looks at the body as a whole.”
